2025 Final Fishing Report

Well, here we are in October and close to wrapping up our 2025 fishing season.  There are still going to be some opportunities to get out and about, but this time of year the best bet is to focus on all of the lakes around town.  Until they freeze there are chances at some cutt's and Dollies places like Auke Lake, the Dredge Lakes complex and Windfall Lake.  There will be some hatches here and there so having a couple dry flies with you is always a good idea, but sculpins or leeches will generally work better.  Often in the fall the best success will be from mid-day on when the air temps are the warmest.

Next Monday we will go to our "flakey fall" hours.  The shop will be open most weekdays from 11AM-2PM.  If you can't make it in during these hours, give us a call or shoot us an email and we will be happy to schedule an appointment.  Online orders will still be shipping daily.  We will go back to an expanded schedule the day after Thanksgiving and will be open until Christmas Day to help with all your holiday needs.  If you aren't signed up for our newsletter or to follow us on social media, please do that as we have found these are the best ways to let everyone know what's coming up.  Starting in December we will be back to weekly fly-tying nights and have our first beginner fly tying class.

Thank you to everyone who supported the shop this season.  We couldn't be here without you all and as always, we had a great season of getting people the right tools to find fish and introducing new anglers to our awesome sport.  We also want to thank everyone who participated in our derbies this season.  A little friendly competition is always fun, and we will absolutely be doing something next year as well.

If we don't see everyone the next couple months, we will see you in December for the holiday season and our annual Christmas Party.  Until then, enjoy some of our favorite fish photos from this season's fishing reports!

Cheers
